Dr Ágoston Gerey is the managing partner of Gerey & Partners. He has been a local partner of the Budapest office of Gide Loyrette Nouel until January 2010. He has over 22 years of experience in business law gained through advising large and medium-sized multinational companies. He is a highly accomplished, meticulously organized and detailed attorney with a proven track record of success both in transactions and the provision on day-to-day legal advice. He has specific expertise on the business needs of companies active in the agricultural sector and food industry.

 

He also has experience in real estate transactions, litigation, international transactions and general management issues. He participated in numerous major, international cases having great significance: he advised foreign companies on the restructuring of its subsidiaries, he provided full-scale legal services in company due diligences, and he participated in several company acquisitions and in as real estate registration procedures related to the sale of industrial parks and shopping centres. He can provide legal aid to his clients in English and French language. He has been admitted to practice as an attorney since 1998.
